Water repellent outer.
These Klopman masks have a filtering performance of >93% on a particulate greater than 1 micrometer.
For reference - an ultrafine atomised droplet is categorised at under 10 micrometers (dry fog) and the Covid 19 virus size is around 0.125 micrometers.
FFP2 filters performance is >95% and filter droplets as small as 0.3 micrometers.
Whilst these masks are not classified as PPE or medical devices, they do represent the best of what is available out of the large range of fabric masks currently being produced. Some from everyday fabrics that have not been tested for their filtering performance before or during a 50 wash process.
The masks are water repellent, breathable, reusable, washable and sterilizable up to 50 times.
They
can be washed at up to 60 degrees Centigrade (medium tumble dry) and
ironing at 150 degrees C (medium) after washing re-activates the water
repellency. Supplied in a two-pack so that one can be worn and one in
the wash.
The third category masks are designed to help to provide a first barrier to the spread of the virus for the whole population and law enforcement (if not engaged in emergency operations).These are devices designed to prevent the risk of spreading the virus contained in the droplets from the wearer to the surrounding space.
Klopman is a long-established European fabric manufacturer that specialises in workwear and medical fabrics.
Instructions for use:
Wash your hands before putting on the mask.
Wear the mask as indicated (external side).
Extend the mask until it covers your mouth and nose and tie it firmly behind your head.
Never touch the mask with dirty hands, take it only by the laces.
When not worn, it must be carefully stored in a clean place.
To sanitize it quickly during the day, spray alcohol (min 70%) on the two faces and leave for at least one minute.
After you take it off, waiting to be washed, wrap it in a paper or plastic bag to avoid contact with clothing or anything else.

In stock 24 – 48 hours: This is an item that is held in our Nottingham warehouse and available for immediate dispatch (cut-off time 12pm weekdays).
Dispatched within 2, 3 or 4 working days: This is an item that is held in a separate UK warehouse. We have to allow some time for the item to arrive at our Nottingham warehouse, before the order is ready to be dispatched.
Dispatched within 2 weeks: This is an item that is held in a separate EU warehouse, extra time is needed for the item to arrive at our Nottingham warehouse, however the majority of orders are usually dispatched before the estimated delivery date.
Before checkout, you will be given an estimated ‘on or before’ delivery date. This is the date that we anticipate your completed order will be delivered to you by. On rare occasions, unexpected delays can mean that estimated delivery dates are not met, but we will keep you informed if this happens.
We occasionally partially dispatch orders, this is usually larger orders or if there has been a delay with a particular delivery. Items that haven’t been sent in a partially dispatched order will be highlighted as ‘To Follow’.

In the rare event that you are experiencing some delivery issues, please contact us via email or phone as soon as possible and within 5 working days of dispatch. This will allow time for the couriers to investigate and resolve any problems. If we are not contacted within this time, the couriers will be unable to assist us and will reject any potential claims.
We use DPD to deliver most of our parcels, they offer a service that can be adapted to suit our customer's needs. We now offer a Royal Mail service to the UK, including Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands, at one flat rate.
Once a parcel is dispatched, the courier will send all tracking information directly to your email or mobile number provided. This is where you can make any changes, should you need to re-arrange the delivery, for example: to change the day, request to leave in a safe place or with a neighbour, or collect from a parcel shop.
The DPD Flexible 7-Day service gives you the option to rearrange delivery to include weekends, all other services are for weekdays only.
It is the customer's responsibly to re-arrange the delivery of the parcel.
If your order is returned to us due to the parcel being refused by you, or not collected from a parcel shop, you may be automatically refunded for the cost of the items. However, we are unable to refund the initial postage costs and may also deduct a return fee of £6.00.

We use UPS to ship internationally, all prices quoted at checkout include duty, customs clearance and local tax. So there is nothing else to pay.
