Keeping Our Key Workers Protected 

As you are more than likely aware, the Coronavirus pandemic has gripped many countries across the globe, altering everyday life as we know it significantly. 

From school closures to companies altering operations to national lock-downs and social distancing for many, it has been challenging to see the metaphorical ‘light at the end of the tunnel’.

However, during such unprecedented and uncertain times, we have seen a great deal of community support and spirit, especially for those that require it the most.

Supporting our Key Workers

If you have shopped with us before, you will know that we stock a great deal of quality PPE and workwear garments for a number of different industries. 

Operating within the sectors we do and having access to an abundance of essential PPE, we have felt a great sense of duty to ensure our local keyworkers are being provided with the protection they deserve during these life-changing times.

Since the Coronavirus outbreak here in the UK, we have donated a number of PPE essentials such as disposable gloves, aprons and surgical face masks to local nursing homes and homeless hostel care workers in Nottingham.

Like the community clapping for the NHS, the team here at Granite Workwear are grateful to be in the position to contribute and show our appreciation to all those working hard to keep our community safe.

Here’s a lovely message we received from one of our wonderful NHS Students:

I have received the coveralls already. Thank you so much for the so many other extras as well. I was so teary going through the box.

This will really help us a lot. I do not know how I can ever repay your kindness. We are so grateful to you and the Granite team.
