Specially developed for sports shooters and hunters.
The new electronics respond at lightning speed to protect the wearer from loud impulse noise.
The SporTac responds so quickly that most people simply do not hear the action. It sounds, quite simply, that nothing has happened.
The SporTac amplifies your hearing so that you actually hear better than you would without the protector.
The Peltor SporTac is an intelligent active hearing protector.
The replaceable battery has a life of around 600 hours and an automatic shut-off after 2 hours of non active functions. Two warning signals are emitted every ten seconds for one minute to indicate that the unit will switch itself off.
The ear cups have a gun stock recess for additional comfort.
Supplied with two sets of earpice cups. One in bright orange and one in dark green - depending whether you are on the range or in a hunting environment.
The SporTac is foldable to take up the least amount of space possible in your jacket pocket or back pack.
Both a radio and a dog tracker can be connected into a J22 audio input.
Models without a microphone can be converted to a headset configuration by either fitting a boom microphone or by using a throat microphone, the microphone is connected to the audio input and then to an external radio.
