Full Description:

SIP Freedom 2 Chainsaw trousers.

Class 2 protection means that these trousers will stop a chainsaw travelling at 24mt/sec.

Are you using class 1 trousers with saws exceeding this speed?

Utilises only 6 layers of protection to achieve this. Due to the method of weaving, the layers of the blocking material lie flat trapping very little air between these layers.
The lighter weight reduces fatigue and heat stress and therefore accidents.
The increased flexibility also allows more freedom of movement for climbers with a fabric that extends in every direction.
25 years of manufacturing chainsaw trousers means that SIP know how to get the best ergonomic cut.
Reinforced thigh area with Armortex which is reinforced with Kevlar. This is extremely abrasion and tear resistant and water and dirt repellent.
Triple stitched crotch seam reduces stress and prolongs the life of the trousers.
Additional protection around the lower leg below the knee.
Reinforced knee patches.
