Fabric - 50% Protex - M, 39% Cotton, 2% anti-stat. fibre 210 gsm weight.

This range is extremely important if you are doing heavy work in environments where you could be subjected to flash flame or fire. The Viloft mix wicks the moisture off the skin and pushes it through to the outside of the garment keeping the skin dry and cool. This in turn reduces the risk of skin burns by removing the sweat which could turn in to steam during a flash flame or fire. It has been proven that wearing a flame retardant garment next to the skin as opposed to 100% cotton can reduce 2nd and 3rd degree burns by up to 50%. With the added benefit of being anti-static to EN1149-3, the range can and should be used where wearers are working in or could be subject to explosive areas such as oil rigs, mining or gas companies. Protex FR and all the Anti-static properties are inherent and will last the lifetime of the garment and will not wash out after repeated laundering. They are also dermatologically safe.
