Bluetooth enabled safety glasses!
This, frankly, sounded a bit bonkers when we first looked at it but we had to eat humble pie.

An excellent idea for any situation requiring eye protection / ear defenders and bluetooth communication such as factory work, grass cutting, highways, rail, utilities - in fact we struggled to come up with an occupation other than diving where these would not be useful.

This is Bluetooth communication with osteophonic technology. The nasel bone conducting microphone, which is adjustable, allows the transmission of voice without the addition of other ambient noises.
The recieved signal is via silica gel earpices that are attached at the ends of the arms on small wires.
These extractable earpieces have the dual function of being earphones and earplugs with an SNR of 21dB.

The glasses manage multiple Blurtooth connections at the same time with the possibility to download the A2DP profile to listen to music etc.

There is an LED on the side of the glasses that indicates charge status.

The glasses come with several accessiories including:-

2 Rechargeable lithium batteries and a battery charger.

Interchangeable UV protective polycarbonate lenses:
Clear - for regular work.
Smoke - for glare / sun.
Yellow - for low light conditions.

2 Pairs of spare earplugs in silica gel.

A rigid zip case for the glasses and the accessories.

A neck cord and a small screwdriver for the battery covers.

These are the safety glasses that do everything except make you a cup of tea.
